CRIP: CM to open five roads on Wednesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate five major city roads developed as part of the City Road Improvement Project (CRIP) at VJT Hall on Wednesday, at 3 pm. LMS-Overbridge, Attakulangara-Enchakkal, Museum-Nandavanam- Model School, Kowdiar-Ambalamukku-Peroorkada, Vanross-Ottukuzhy-Secretariat, new alignment at Shanghumugham and RR Lamp-Students Centre are the roads to be developed under Phase II of CRIP.  PWD Minister V K Ebrahim Kunju will preside over the function. Transport Minister V S Sivakumar will deliver the keynote address. Phase II and III works of CRIP are being carried out by the Thiruvananthapuram Road Development Company Limited, concessionaire of the project. Around 14 km road was developed under Phase I of CRIP.
