Congress MLAs lambast George

Coming down heavily on Chief Whip P C George for his statement on T N Prathapan MLA, V D Satheesan MLA said that whoever has let loose George should control him.

Protesting against the silence of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala in the issue, Satheesan reminded them that they have the responsibility to protect Cong MLAs from such attacks.

At a press conference here on Friday along with Hibi Eden MLA, Satheesan warned of dire consequences if Chandy and Chennithala escape from their responsibilities. George’s statement has affected the credibility of the UDF team which visited Nelliyampathy.

Hence a team of  UDF MLAs - T N Prathapan, M V Sreyams Kumar, Hibi Eden, V T Balram, K M Shaji and V D Satheesan - will visit Nelliyampathy on August 6, he said.

He said the Congressmen would not remain as mute spectators against such attacks.
