MYSORE: Demanding a thorough investigation into the alleged sexual harassment, Federation of Dalit Organisations urged the government to conduct a brain mapping test on Prof Shivabasavaiah and victim Saritha.The forum criticised Saritha and her husband Dr B R Vijay Kumar for blaming Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (DSS) leaders.At a press conference held in the city on Thursday, Dalit leader Harihara Anandaswamy said the DSS has been fighting for the rights of the depressed classes and women since its inception. The victim and her husband alleged that DSS leaders had threatened them, he said.Explaining the status of the case, Anandaswamy said that Shivabasavaiah was under suspension and it was revoked after seven months from the date of the incident with pending departmental inquiry and he was transferred as in-charge Director of Publication Division, UoM, as per rules.The charges against Shivabasavaiah are being investigated through departmental inquiry, court and National SC/ST Commission, he said.
