CNN-IBN races ahead of competition

New Delhi: CNN-IBN continues its winning walk. The latest viewership ratings captured by TAM for the period April 23 - April 29 states, CNN-IBN has overtaken NDTV.

According to latest ratings, CNN-IBN shares in the six metros - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, stands at 0.32 while NDTV 24 X 7 stands at 0.27.

CNN-IBN clearly leads 19 per cent over NDTV.

Simply put, the last three weeks data collected by TAM shows that the affluent Indian male (between the age of 25 and 34), stays glued to CNN-IBN.

CNN-IBN's channel share for the same period in the Male 25+ A CS category stands at 0.32 – to maintain lead over NDTV.

CNN-IBN also leads the genre among the cream population in markets with population above 10 lakhs.

The audience of the channel stands highest among males between the 15 - 44 age group in the metros.

The lead is further highlighted when one considers a Male-Female combined audience in the same TG.

The Metro youth (15 to 24 years) have seemed to take a liking to the channel as well.
