HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar congratulated the students. "10th CBSE board exam was conducted after 10 years. This's basically preparation for 12th board. Those students who've got compartment should prepare again and I'm sure they'll do well, he said.
Earlier in the day, Board secretary Anil Swarup had wished luck to all the CBSE students. "You have done your bit. Let not the results make you nervous because you have no control over them. You can't do anything now. You will reap the fruits of what you have sown. Be contented with what you get. And then, build your future," he said.
More than 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad.
