According to sources, the three-member team led by a CBI officer left for Bali on Saturday.

In a bid to seek gangster Chhota Rajan's deportation, a team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has left for Bali.

According to sources, the three-member team led by a CBI officer left for Bali on Saturday.

CBI sources further told CNN-IBN that the team would meet Indian Embassy officials on Monday to discuss the issue.

This comes even as, according to sources, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is working out the procedure for deportation as extradition process is unlikely to hapen.

Earlier on Sunday, the first secretary at Indian embassy in Jakarta met Chhota Rajan in jail. The embassy official spent close to 45 minutes with Chhota Rajan.
