Buses vroom on nine new routes

TIRUCHY: The buses to be operated in nine new routes in the district, as announced by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa commenced operations immediately. The Chief Minister had launched nine new Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus services as part of the slew of projects announced for residents of Srirangam constituency, here on Sunday.The buses started operations on the following routes: Tiruchy-Manapparai, Petavaithalai-Chennai, Tiruchy-Maravanur (Via Ramji Nagar, Chathirapatti), Srirangam-Surakkudipatti (Via Chathiram Bus Stand, Central Bus Stand, Manikandam), Chathiram Bus Stand-Neidhalur Colony (Via Thennur, Allithurai), Chathiram Bus Stand-Kallanai (via Thiruvanaikovil, Nadukondaiyampettai, Ponnurangapuram), Chathiram Bus Stand-Mekkudi (viaThillainagar, Central Bus Stand, Sengkkurichi), Chathiram Bus Stand-Mekkudi (via Palakkarai, Central Bus Stand, Sengkkurichi), Chathiram Bus Stand-Kollukattaikudi (via Palakkarai, Central Bus Stand, K K Nagar, Udayaanpatti).
