Bhopal: Accusing the Orissa government of harassing him, child marathon prodigy Buddhia Singh's coach Biranchi Das claimed no organisation has imposed any restriction to prevent his disciple from running.
"Neither the Human Rights Commission nor any other organisation has put any written restriction on Buddhia's running. He runs 10-15 km every day for his practice," Das said.
Budhia and Das had flagged off a mini marathon – ‘run for the nation’ organised by Nehru Yuvak Kendra (YUK) in Bhopal.
Alleging harassment by Orissa government, Das claimed earlier that the government had assured financial help to Buddhia, who set a record by running 65 km, but no help was given, forcing him to approach the court.
Now, Orissa government is speaking of putting a ban on Buddhia's running, he claimed and said six months ago doctors who were of the view that there would be no harmful effect on boy' health now opined that his lever would be damaged if he

Buddhia had returned three days ago from Dubai where he was examined at American hospital for possible impact of running of his health, he said adding the report was expected in a week.
Das said Buddhia has participated in over 100 competitions in Orissa and his aim is to get a medal in Olympic games but he should wait for it till he is 16.
Buddhia ran one kilometer along with other children in the mini marathon.
