London: More and more Brit teenage girls are just dying to have a boob job done on them so that they can look like model Jordan and Big Brother star Chantelle.
The number of 18 and 19-year-old girls wanting to increase their bra cup size was reported by cosmetic surgery clinics across Britain as having increased by 150 per cent.
The teenagers dare to go for a boob job at such a young age because their parents also give them their consent, with some parents even present the boob op as an 18th birthday present to their daughters, say doctors.
According to reports, the Transform chain operated on 169 teenagers last year, taking the number up from just 30 in 2006.
“Young women read in magazines about personalities who have had breast augmentations and that has a great influence,” the Sun quoted spokesman Shami Choudhry as saying.
Chantelle, 24-years-old, got her boobs increased from 32B to a 32E as a “divorce present” to herself after splitting from hubby Preston, adding that it boosted her self-confidence.
Jordan, who is 29-years-old, had hers enlarged several times before making them smaller again.
But consultant psychologist Eileen Bradbury warned that girls could face a lifetime of surgery.
