Here is a quick round up from the world of entertainment.
YESTERYEAR STARS?
If you're wondering where one-time Bollywood queens Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta are these days, here's the dope. Rani Mukherji is reportedly seeking divine intervention by going on a 40-day fast to please the gods and make her forthcoming film Dil Bole Hadippa a super hit to resurrect her career. Meanwhile Preity Zinta is rumoured to be all set to make her small screen debut as host for a show on a sports channel.
HOME STEEP HOME!
While Rani and Preity try and figure out their lives, Shah Rukh Khan has gone ahead and spent a whopping £20 million for a flat in Central London's posh Park Lane area. This is believed to be the highest price paid by any Bollywood actor for property on foreign shores.
CONTROVERSIES GALORE
Zeenat Aman could do it in the '70s but Priyanka Kothari can't get away with it now. The Dam Maaro Yara song from RGV's latest film, Agyaat is one that the Censor Board has taken objection to. The board has asked director Ram Gopal Varma to cut out the scenes of Priyanka taking a drag from the chillum for the song's television publicity. The controversy has surfaced even before the controversy over RGV twisting the National Anthem for Rann is over.
