BANGALORE: State BJP general secretary C T Ravi said that the state BJP would remain with former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa during his time of crisis.“Yeddyurappa is facing an acid test. He will emerge victorious eventually,” he said.He said that the CBI raids on properties belonging to Yeddyurappa within 24 hours after filing an FIR on the charges against him was nothing but “due legal process”.Claiming that the Congress- led UPA Central government has a history of misusing the CBI to browbeat Opposition parties, the state BJP expressed confidence at Yeddyurappa emerging clean from all charges against him.“The UPA government had used the CBI to target Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and two former Uttar Pradesh chief ministers, Mayavati and Mulayam Singh Yadav,” he said, alleging that CBI cases against its leaders were diluted.
