HYDERABAD: The BJP wants to make use of the byelections in Andhra and Rayalaseema districts, necessitated by the disqualification of 16 Jagan camp legislators, to improve its base in the Telangana region.As the slogan for bifurcation of the state is a red rag for the people of coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, the BJP leaders, while campaigning for their candidates in the Seemandhra region, want scenes to be created so that its stock will go up in Telangana.Having decided to contest all the 17 seats in byelections, of which 16 are in Andrha and Rayalaseema districts, the BJP has come out with a booklet on the benefits of bifurcation to the people of both the regions. The BJP wants to expose the two-eye theory of Chandrababu Naidu.“We are going to have a meeting of the party election committee where we will finalise the approach to the byelections. As of now, we have decided to contest all the 17 seats. We want to expose the doublespeak of the Congress and the TDP on the bifurcation issue,” BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said.
