Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: 10 things to look out for in the film
Normally, the filmmakers tend to showcase only the positive side of a person on which the biopic is based.

New Delhi: Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's much awaited biopic on Milkha Singh is all set to be released on Friday, July 12, 2013. The audience is looking forward to a well made film and thus some aspects of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' will be under scanner. We have compiled ten of them.

Farhan Akhtar: He will be directly responsible for the performance of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' at the box-office. The story revolves around none other than Milkha Singh and thus no one other than the actor playing Milkha Singh will enjoy the pressure of entertaining the audience throughout the film.

Sonam Kapoor: She has been constantly getting big films and many of them were declared hits but Sonam still is in search of a film where critics unanimously find her performance fantastic. Can 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' be that film?

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra: Mehra has always been termed as a maverick director but success didn't come to him apart from 'Rang De Basanti'. Be it 'Aks' or 'Delhi 6', his style is clearly visible in the story but somehow the box-office success remained elusive for him. He would be hoping for 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' to break the jinx.

Prasoon Joshi: He is the force behind the screenplay and the songs of the film. The songs have already caught attention of the listeners and now it's the time for his screenplay to excel.

Locations: Due to the fact that 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' covers a wide time frame, it will feature a range of locations. Milkha was an international athlete and thus the biopic will travel through a lot of shooting spots, and all of them will have to compliment the era of the corresponding scene.

Character actors: A biopic is not only about the lead but is also about the characters who help the lead in evolving as a legend. Yograj Singh to Meesha Shafi to Rebecca Breeds, everyone will have to come up with valuable contribution in order to make the film a memorable one.

Emotional connect: Milkha Singh's story is not completely unknown to the audience but to transform it into an interesting celluloid story, the makers need to focus on exact props and emotional unfolding of the narration. The film will make a place in the hearts of viewers only if it is high on emotional quotient.

Historical significance: Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra experimented with the screenplay of 'Rang De Basanti' when he embedded it with the story of Bhagat Singh and his friends. He is once again doing the same in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', in a more direct manner though.

The spirit of the story: Milkha Singh emerged as a world-class athlete in a country which was known for its poverty and backwardness. 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' is not just about one person who struggled against the adversities but also about all such people who found a way out of their problems.

Negative aspect of a persona: Normally, filmmakers tend to showcase only the positive side of a person on which the biopic is based but a great biopic needs to present all facets of a dice. Will Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra be able to do that? Well, the answer will be delivered in less than one day as 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' hits the screen on July 12, 2013.
