Bangalore rape: Police interrogates school authorities

Bangalore: After arresting a teacher for allegedly sexually assaulting a six-year-old in Bangalore, the police is now interrogating the school authorities.

A fresh case has been filed against the school. It was also booked in September for failing to comply with safety guidelines issued by the Karnataka government. The latest case against the institution says failure to comply with the guidelines led to the alleged rape of the student.

A 40-year-old teacher was arrested on Friday in connection with the case. According to the complaint the alleged incident happened on Tuesday. This is the third case of sexual assault on a child in a school in the month of October.
