HYDERABAD: Five persons, including a one-and-halfyear- old girl, died in four different road mishaps occured at various places in the city on Tuesday.The baby girl, Sony, was run over by a water tank when she was playing in front of her house at Madhurnagar.Inspector P Srinivas said that the accused driver, Jahangir, was arrested.In another incident, two pharma employees, B Narasinga Rao (22) and K Naveen (20), died on the spot and their accomplice Babu (18) suffered severe injuries when the bike, the trio were riding on, hit a parked RTC bus at Jeedimetla.The trio left their office at around 11.45 pm on a bike. As they reached near Jeedimetla, their bike rammed into a parked RTC bus.Babu’s condition is said to be critical at Gandhi General Hospital.Near Sha theatre at Chintal, a 50-year-old man, N Narahari, was knocked down by a speeding scooter when he was crossing the road. Narahari died on the spot.The scooter driver is still at large while the police has registered a case.An RTC bus hit a private employee, Saggidi Sudhakar Rao (36) near Big Bazaar, Ameerpet while he was riding a bike. Rao died on the spot.
