AP: Leopard causes panic in village

CHITTOOR: Panic gripped Sanagatla and other villages in the forest fringe areas in Baireddypalli mandal after a leopard strayed into the village thrice on Tuesday.According to information reaching here, the leopard took away two goats grazing in the fields.The village wore a deserted look with the villagers remaining indoors fearing the wild cat attack. As the news of the leopard straying into Sanagatla spread, people in the neighbouring were also not venturing out.Chittoor DFO (west) formed six teams to scare the leopard back into the forest. The teams are keeping a vigil on the forest fringe.
