Ajit Kumar has been appointed as Ambassador and permanent representative of India to the United Nations in Geneva.
New Delhi: Ajit Kumar has been appointed as Ambassador and permanent representative of India to the United Nations in Geneva, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday.
"Ajit Kumar presently Consul General, Consulate General of India, Atlanta, has been appointed to the post.
He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
