Advani: Congress allies are scapegoats in scams

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leader L K Advani has alleged that the coalition partners are increasingly being made scapegoats in various scams by the Congress. He demanded a probe into the role of the senior Congress ministers in the scams, including the 2G spectrum allocation.Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that the senior ministers in the Union Cabinet were aware of what was happening in the 2G spectrum scam and were endorsing it.“Never before in the history of the country were so many ministers  dropped and jailed for corruption. All are allies of the Congress party. The coalition partners are made scapegoats on charges of corruption, even when the whole UPA Government is responsible,” he said.
