Advance round II of counselling

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry parents students association has urged the government to conduct the second round of CENTAC counselling without delay.In a statement, Balasubramanian, president of the association, said that the seats which had fallen vacant should be filled immediately so that students did not miss the classes which had already begun in some institutions. Already, 32 MBBS seats had fallen vacant and it would be best to fill up with aspiring students, he added.However, CENTAC authorities said that they needed at least a week’s time. Besides, students had been given time to take admission. Only after that the actual vacancy position would be known, they added.
