New Delhi: It finally happened. Bollywood’s most-talked about couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were engaged on Sunday evening, finally putting most speculations to rest. All but two: when and where will their marriage take place?
Just over a day after their engagement, the country was buzzing with speculation about the D-Day. Rumours have it that the much-speculated wedding will take place in the royal city of Jaipur in Rajasthan.
Though the date of the wedding has not been fixed yet, sources say it could happen either on February 19 or March 7. Abhishek's father, superstar Amitabh Bachchan, however told CNN-IBN, “The families have to get together. Some members of her family are out of town. We also have to gather our family to discuss the date and then we will announce it.”
But even as the nation was gung-ho with excitement over the news on Monday morning, for the couple, it seemed like just another day. While Abhishek headed straight to Jaipur with his mother Jaya Bachchan for the shooting of Drona, Aishwarya was off to work on Jodha-Akbar.
