Hyderabad: An accused in the recent Mumbai blasts in suburban trains was arrested by Mumbai special branch police in Hyderabad in the early hours of Saturday.
Of the seven planters of bombs, four have been arrested. They are Faizal Sheikh, who planted bomb at Jogeshwari, Kamaluddin Ansari, whose IED exploded at Matunga, Ehtesam Siddique, whose act triggered blast at Mira Road, and Naved, arrested in Hyderabad on Saturday.
According to police sources, acting on information, Mumbai police came to the city on Friday night and arrested Naved at Lake shore apartment near Naredmet area. He was later taken to Mumbai.
Mr Naved, along with four other accused, was also produced before the media while Mumbai police Commissioner A N Ray addressed the press conference on Saturday afternoon in Mumbai.
Sources said Naved had come to the city immediately after the blasts occurred and was staying in the apartment.
The accused was an employee in a call centre here. He was living in the apartment since two years along with three others, including his relative.
