A 5.4-magnitude tremor shook the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday morning. It was the third within four days.
New Delhi: A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 5.4 on the richter's scale was recorded in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. There were no reports of any damage to life or property.
The tremor was recorded at 0726(IST) and had its epicentre in the Hindukush region in Pakistan.
Wednesday's tremor was the third in four days. Two 5.2-Magnitude tremors?both having their epicentre in Pakistan?were recorded on Sunday and Monday.
More than 120 aftershocks have been recorded in the state since the October 8 killer earthquake.
