333 People Test Positive for Dengue in Dehradun

Dehradun: At least 333 people in Dehradun have tested positive for dengue, Uttarakhand health department officials said on Friday. The disease has claimed one life already.

Dehradun CMO Dr Y S Thapaliyal said of the 4,091 suspected dengue cases in the last two months, 333 tested positive. He said patients are receiving treatment and 90 per cent of them are showing signs of speedy recovery.

Fogging is being carried out across the city and people are being made aware about precautionary measures, he said.
