Beating the deadline, main opposition BJP, on Thursday, filed its dissent report on the JPC findings on the 2G spectrum scam, calling it "flawed and a bundle of contradictions", joining five other CPI(M), CPI, DMK, AIADMK and BJD.
BJP submitted a 42-page dissent note signed by its six members in the JPC this evening, hours before the deadline ended.
CPI(M), CPI, BJD and AIADMK had given their dissent notes earlier, DMK leader T R Baalu submitted the papers on Wednesday.
The report, along with the dissent notes, which are a way of recording members' objections to the findings and are appended with the final report when it is tabled in Parliament, will be handed over to the Lok Sabha Speaker by the month-end.
The report had been adopted by a majority vote as two JD(U) members abstained from the meeting of JPC.
After submitting the dissent note, BJP charged the report is "flawed from the first page, a bundle of contradictions, of half truths and untruths".
The BJP members alleged the government "completely controlled" JPC Chairperson P C Chacko who worked according to their directions, a charge the Congress leader denied.
"The Prime Minister, the Prime Minister's Office, the Finance Ministry, and DoT and its officials- all of them had a hand in preparing the report and in covering up the whole thing," BJP leader Yashwant Sinha told reporters.
"The Congress Vice President should tear and throw away the JPC report when it is tabled in Parliament," Sinha said taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi who had recently used similar strong words against the ordinance on convicted lawmakers.
He alleged "this entire game has been played by the Government of India. This has been done by the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister and the DoT (Telecom) Minister who still holds the portfolio."
Chacko countered this, saying the report was drafted by his secretariat and under his directions.
"The charge of Yashwant Sinha and company shows their desperation. It is completely political... It is out of desperation. Why Yashwant Sinha is too much worried about the report?. There may be skeletons in the cupboard," Chacko said.
"You will know very soon why Sinha and company is worried," Chacko said.
Baalu, the sole DMK member in JPC, has reportedly raised questions in his 26-page dissent note as to how the report drew its conclusions when documents before various courts were not available for examination. He has termed the report as "half boiled".
