With the withdrawal of 14 candidates from the fray, 26 candidates are left in the poll fray from the Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha constituency for which voting would be held on April 10.
Prominent candidates in the fray are Bhavana Pundlikrao Gawali (Shiv Sena), Shivajirao Moghe (Indian National Congress), Bharatraje Patil (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena), Baliram Parshram Rathod (Bahujan Samaj Party), Jambhuwantrao Bapurao Dhote (All India Forward Bloc), Ahmad Parvez Iqbal Ahmad Noormohammad (Samajwadi Party), Naresh Fulsingh Rathod (Aam Aadmi Party), Mohan Mallu Rathod (Bharatiya Republican Bahujan Mahasangh) and Prashant Pandharinath Surve (independent).
Prominent among candidates who withdrew their nominations include Bandu Ganpat Meshram (Gondwana Gantantra Party) and 13 independents.
