Bengaluru: Twenty five dogs were buried alive in a eight feet deep pit in Amruth Nagar in Bengaluru.
The incident came to light on July 20 after an NGO, 'People For Animals' received a complaint. The team immediately visited the spot and rescued one dog which was still alive in the pit.
"The problem is we do not have any evidence. We found a lot of city garbage over there. The pit size indicates work of a professional," a member from the NGO said.
Recently, eight boys were held for allegedly burning alive three puppies at a graveyard in Hyderabad.
