22-year-old girl crushed by vehicle in Mumbai, dies on footpath near police station without receiving any help

Mumbai: In a shocking incident from Mumbai, a 22-year-old woman died in an alleged hit and run case on Wednesday night. The victim was reportedly lying on the footpath for 15 minutes just opposite a police station but received no help.

The incident occurred on the Western Express Highway.

According to police, she was crossing the busy highway when some unknown vehicle mowed her down.

The victim's brother Siddharth Pandya said, "The hospital is close by, she could have been saved. Why did it take 20 minutes to take her to the hospital? I want justice for my sister. Police should arrest the guilty."
