2 hotel workers held for womans murder

HYDERABAD: A day after the killing of a woman at Banjara Hills, police on Saturday arrested two hotel workers for the murder.The body of K Rani (28) was found in a gunny bag at LN Nagar on Friday. Investigating into the case, police arrested Ganga Raju of East Godavari district and Vishwanath Panda of Odisha on Saturday, both aged around 25 years and workers at Sangham hotel in Yousufguda.Police said the duo went to a toddy compound at Borabanda on Thursday night after completing their duties. While consuming toddy, they met Rani and the duo reportedly took her to their rented house at Yousufguda. After having sex with her, the duo allegedly denied Rani the money promised. As Rani started an argument, the two tried to forcibly shut her mouth. In the process, the duo throttled Rani to death and later stuffed her in a gunny bag and left it in LN Nagar, police said.Man Found Dead in HouseA person from Kolkata, Animesh Ghosh (23) who was working in a private firm at Hitec City was found dead in his house at First Lancer in Humayunnagar police limits. Ghosh was found unconscious in the house and shifted to a hospital by his colleagues where he was declared dead.
