Bangalore: Two people were killed and 25 injured in a bus accident in Bangalore on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation Volvo bus mowed down people waiting at a bus stand.
Police said the mishap occurred in front of the Helicopter Division of HAL at Marathahalli beyond the airport when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The bus was travelling from Marathalli to Majestic in the city.
Among the injured, 16 have been admitted to the HAL hospital and nine others at Manipal hospital.
Soon after the accident, an enraged mob torched the bus. No arrests have been made till now.
