Vijay Deverakonda Gets Mobbed at Polling Booth As He Casts Vote In Telangana Elections 2023; Watch

Vijay Deverakonda was mobbed when he made his way to the polling booth in Hyderabad to cast his vote. A video of the Telugu star has surfaced online showing him dressed in a blingy jacket and sporting a pair of head-turning sunglasses. The Arjun Reddy star made his way to the polling booth with his team and was greeted by a mob of cameramen. The actor managed to find his way through the mob and headed into the booth to cast his vote.

After casting his vote, Vijay was seen speaking with the media. He urged fans to step out and cast their votes.

Besides Vijay, filmmaker SS Rajamouli also cast his vote. The RRR director took to the microblogging site X to drop a selfie with his wife Rama Rajamouli after casting their vote. In the photo, the couple was seen flaunting the electoral ink on their forefinger. “We did? DID YOU? Be a proud voter,” Rajamouli wrote in the caption. Check it out here:

Oscar-winning music composer, Padma Shri MM Keeravani also cast his vote and urged everyone to do the same. “Everyone should utilise their voting power…This is not a holiday,” he said while speaking to media as he stepped out of a polling booth. Earlier today, Allu Arjun also visited Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area to cast his vote. The Pushpa star was spotted standing in a queue at the polling booth.

As for Vijay, he has had a good year at the movies this year. The actor was seen in a lone release, Kushi, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and it was a big hit. The film marked his comeback from the flop of Liger. The actor now has VD 12 with director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The actor had released a poster of the same earlier this year, revealing that he will be playing a cop in the movie. It is reported that the film will release in the summer of 2024.
