Popular Telugu YouTuber Chandoo Sai, known as Pakkinti Kurradu for his socially relevant content, has been apprehended by the police. The arrest ensued following a complaint lodged by a young woman from Narsinghi, who accused Chandoo Sai of deceiving and sexually assaulting her under the pretext of love. Chandoo Sai has reportedly been arrested by Narsingi Police under the SC ST Act. The YouTuber has been detained under Section 376(2) in connection with a rape case and subsequently transferred to Chanchalguda Jail. Other charges under Sections 320 and the SC-ST Act have been formally filed. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Chandoo Sai has gained popularity for his skits via his YouTube channel, The Boy Next Door. He has also been featured in a web series. The victim shared her experience, revealing that Chandoo Sai betrayed her and subsequently assaulted her. In her police complaint, the victim explained that Chandoo Sai, whose real name is Chandrasekhar Sai Kiran, emotionally manipulated her and took advantage of her on April 25, 2021.

The young woman opted to pursue justice by reporting the incident to the police. Consequently, cases have been filed against Chandoo Sai, encompassing charges of rape, cheating, and violations of the SC and ST Atrocities Act.

Following the incident, cases have been registered not only against Chandoo Sai, but also against his parents and two other individuals implicated in the situation.

According to the March 2021 complaint, the accused and the victim initially connected through social media. Subsequently, they exchanged contact details, engaged in text conversations on WhatsApp, and maintained communication through phone calls.

Following his proposal and assurances of marriage, Chandrashekar, on the complainant’s birthday, April 25, 2021, persisted in urging her to visit his residence in Puppalaguda, despite her reluctance. Subsequently, he compelled her to stay overnight, involving her in non-consensual sexual activities. The ongoing promises of marriage ultimately resulted in them cohabiting in the same house.

As part of the investigation, female police officers recorded the complainant’s statement at a counselling centre in Moinabad. Subsequently, she was sent to a government district hospital in Kondapur for medical tests.
