Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi Visit Ex-Telangana CM KCR After His Hip Replacement Surgery
The hospital issued a statement confirming the successful surgery and stating that KCR is currently in good recovery.

Telugu superstars Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi paid a visit to former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Yashoda Hospital. The visit came after KCR underwent hip replacement surgery. Chiranjeevi followed Nagarjuna’s visit and also met the former CM in the hospital on December 13.

In a media statement, Chiranjeevi shared that KCR’s post-surgery condition is positive. Following a fall at his Erravalli farmhouse on December 7, K Chandrashekar Rao underwent hip replacement surgery at a Hyderabad private hospital. Due to a left hip fracture, the procedure was necessary, and his recovery is estimated to take around 6 to 8 weeks for full recuperation. The hospital issued a statement confirming the successful surgery and stating that KCR is currently in good recovery.

“Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao Garu had a slip and fall in his Bathroom at his residence and was subsequently brought to Yashoda Hospital for further care. On evaluation, including CT scans he was found to have a left Hip fracture (Extracapsular Neck of femur fracture). He would require left hip replacement for the same and the usual course of recovery for such cases is expected to be six to eight weeks,” the hospital said in a statement.

Recovering from hip replacement surgery at a private hospital, KCR has urged the public to refrain from visiting him to minimize the risk of potential infections. In a video message, he mentioned that medical advice advises against external contact for the next 10 days, prioritizing his well-being and the safety of other patients in the hospital.

In a video, KCR requested everyone to return to their respective places safely and urged people not to visit him for the next 10 days, considering the numerous patients undergoing treatment in the hospital. He emphasized the importance of their safety, assuring that he would meet with people once he had fully recovered.
