Kollapur Election Result 2023: Jupally Krishna Rao of Congress Leading, Counting On
Counting of votes began for the Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 at 8 am on Sunday. Jupally Krishna Rao of the Congress party was leading on the Kollapur seat according to the initial trends.

Counting of votes for the Telangana Assembly elections 2023 went underway at 8 am on Saturday. The Congress party has taken a clear early lead in the southern states, while the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) seems to be a distant second. On the Kollapur seat, Jupally Krishna Rao of the Congress was leading. Rao, who had contested on a TRS ticket in 2018 Assembly Elections, fought the 2023 polls on a Congress ticket. Meanwhile, according to the early numbers, Congress was leading on 70 seats, well above the half-way mark, while the BRS was leading on 37. If this trend continues, Telangana may be looking at delivering a blow to KC Rama Rao while the Congress may now be looking at another southern state win.

Cricketer-turned-politician Mohammed Azharuddin of Congress was leading on the Jubilee Hills. Telangana Chief Minister KCR was trailing on Kamareddy while he was leading on the Gajwel seat as per the early numbers.

This would be the first Congress government in the southern state, formed when the party was in power at the Centre.

The exit polls have predicted a clear win for the Congress in Telangana. India Today-Axis MyIndia exit poll has predicted 63-73 seats for the Congress. India TV-CNX saw 63-79 seats for the Congress, 31-47 for the BRS, 2-4 for the BJP and 5-7 for AIMIM.

Republic TV-Matrize predicted that, in Telangana, the Congress would get 58-68 seats, BRS 46-56, BJP 4-9 and AIMIM 5-7. Jan Ki Baat predicted that the Congress would get 48-64 seats, the BRS would get 40-55, BJP 7-13 and AIMIM 4-7.

TV9 Bharatvarsh Polstrat estimated that the Congress would get 49-59 seats, the BRS would get 48-58, the BJP 5-10 and AIMIM 6-8. News 24-Today’s Chankaya gave a clear victory to the Congress by giving it 71 seats against 33 of the BRS and 7 of the BJP.

Voting for the Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 took place on November 30, 2023. The counting of votes is underway and the results are expected to be out by the evening.
