Chiranjeevi Roped In For Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa? Read On
Chiranjeevi is currently busy with his upcoming movie Vishwambhara which also stars Trisha Krishnan.

Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming mythological film Kannappa is one of the most anticipated movies in Indian cinema. With more than 800 crew members and 5 months of artwork to produce authentic sets for the shoot, the release date of the movie is eagerly awaited by many cinema enthusiasts. This dream project of the actor could be considered as his comeback film in the Telugu film industry. Prabhas will be playing the role of Lord Shiva in the movie while Kangana Ranaut will be portraying the role of Parvati.

According to earlier reports, the mythological film is said to have a star-studded cast of Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar and Prabhas. Now, as per the latest buzz, Chiranjeevi’s name has also been added to the ensemble cast of the movie. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.

The makers have not confirmed these reports yet. However, it is believed that the addition of Chiranjeevi in the movie could become a huge selling point for the makers during the promotion. Chiranjeevi was recently awarded Padma Vibhushan by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu for his contributions to Indian cinema. The actor is currently busy with his upcoming movie Vishwambhara. It is written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta. It also stars Trisha Krishnan in the lead role.

Earlier, the makers of the Kannappa announced that the Tamil actor R Sarathkumar was roped in for the film. The shooting of the movie has now moved to its next schedule. It will be filmed in New Zealand. The makers took to their social media pages to share behind-the-scenes footage of the cast and crew of Kannappa while gearing up for their massive shoot in New Zealand.

In the video, Mukesh Kumar Singh and leading star Vishnu Manchu were seen strolling at the decided location of the shoot in New Zealand. Actor Vishnu Manchu is sporting a thick beard and is seen in his bulky physique to step into his mythological character.

The music of the movie is composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma. The film is produced by Mohan Babu under the banner of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
