How to Turn Your Bedroom Into a Blanket Fort
How to Turn Your Bedroom Into a Blanket Fort
Okay, so you know the blanket forts, right? Well, of course you do. But you want to make it on a bigger scale...Like, perhaps, transforming your entire room into one? Here's how...
Steps

Ask your parents for permission. This project will require putting holes in the walls and possibly ceilings, and you don't want to get in trouble!

Gather your materials. A small room will need 2-4 sheets. It's recommended to not use fitted sheets.

Pin the sheets together in whatever shape your room is with the safety pins. Pin them together every 8–12 inches (20.3–30.5 cm), or less if you don't want gaps.

Mark with tape where you'll put the thumbtacks, to be prepared. You'll want to put it every 3–5 feet (0.9–1.5 m) to ensure that they don't drag down to your bed. Aim high.

Pin the sheets to the wall. If you don't have a friend, be quick and, if possible, keep the rest of the sheets close.

Pin the lag to the ceiling. This is where you should really be careful, because they're thumbtacks, they're sharp, and if you don't insert them at an angle, it can come down very quickly. And yes, we're still talking about thumbtacks.

Examine your work. Is there anywhere else you want to pin-up? Make sure you're happy with your handiwork, because you deserve it.

(optional) Make a door. Open your door and pin another sheet to the wall or the sheet hanging above the door. Also, this is where you really shouldn't use a scrunchie sheet. Ever.

Keep it up for however long you want, have fun in it! You can bring some books or pillows. Put whatever you want in it. Here are some more ideas to have fun! If your fort is big enough, you can have a sleepover inside it with your friend! Play some music! Spend the day inside it! Just don't knock the fort down.

What's your reaction?
