Draw two straight lines in the center of your drawing sheet. Use your ruler to draw a straight line vertically and draw another line horizontally on the middle of the sheet.
Draw a circle for the face. Make sure that the circle slightly looks like an oval.
Draw the ears. Draw two round semi-circles on the top of the circle keeping them equally spaced from each other.
Draw the eyes. Consider drawing bigger eyes. Anime eyes are drawn larger to symbolize the emotion and expression of the figure.
Draw the nose and mouth. Draw a circle in the center of your drawing sheet and then draw a short line down. Draw the mouth by drawing two small curves beneath that short line.
Add expression. Draw two little curve lines underneath the eyes and draw another curve upwards over the nose to make the figure look happy.
Erase the unnecessary lines. This step crucial before you color your drawing.
Color your drawing. For a simple figure, you will only need three colors like pink, black and white. However, you can also choose whichever colors you'd like. Include pink for the furry cheeks and ears. Use black for the nose and eyes. Take the color white for the figure's face.
Add a background. lt depends on your like - select a brightly colored background to highlight the main figure.
