London: Arsenal are keeping an eye on Tim Krul if Julio Cesar decides to join Napoli. Arsene Wenger wants to rope in another keeper to provide competition to Wojciech Szczesny, 23, and Lukasz Fabianski, 28.
Wenger was all set to gign Cesar from Queens Park Rangers for £1million but now it looks like he is most likely joining the Serie A club. After this snub, Wenger is considering of a £6m bid for Newcastle's Krul.
Krul last year signed a five-year deal with the Magpies and could be tempted by Champions League. Moreover, Arsenal are aiming for AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate if Bacary Sagna decides to leave for PSG.
Sagna, 30, is in talks with the club to extend his contract but usually Gunners don't offer long-term deals to players of his age. Milan are not ready to leave Abate, but he wants to be part of the Premier League.
