Munich: Bayern Munich switched its attention from football to beer on Sunday as players and coaching staff enjoyed the city's Oktoberfest celebrations. The Bundesliga leader toasted last season's treble-winning success and looked forward to more under new coach Pep Guardiola.

The Spanish coach wore a traditional hat to go with the ubiquitous lederhosen and was accompanied by his wife, while players also brought their families to enjoy the annual festival.

After his side's 1-1 draw at Bayer Leverkusen the day before, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the players: "Celebrate freely. Our next game isn't for another two weeks. We can enjoy the beer."

Mario Mandzukic and Jan Kirchhoff both missed the celebrations with flu. Bayern is one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen after eight league games.
