Jadon Sancho is expected to have a new destination with Italian side Juventus reportedly submitting a bid for the English winger. Sancho had returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United last season. Sancho’s departure from Old Trafford was a result of a fallout between him and Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. But it is now being learnt that the Premier League giants are not interested in loaning out the 24-year-old. As per Tuttosport, Manchester United are likely to let Sancho go on a permanent deal and will not accept any loan deal for him. Juventus now, reportedly, want to make full use of this situation. In a bid to bolster their squad for next season, Bianconeri are looking for new faces during the summer transfer window and Sancho is understood to be fitting nicely into their style of gameplay.
Italian publication La Stampa, however, has a different stance on Jadon Sancho’s transfer situation. The outlet claimed that Manchester United are accepting the possibility of loaning Sancho out once again but there is still no agreement between the English international and Juventus.
Manchester United are expected to include a mandatory buy clause for Jadon Sancho. Another report from Tutto Juve, suggested that Manchester United are willing to determine the fate of Sancho and they have fixed a deadline of mid-July to sort out the transfer situation of the youngster. It has been learnt that Juventus feel a delay in deciding Sancho’s transfer may result in Manchester United accepting a loan deal without a buy option for the player.
Jadon Sancho completed his move to Manchester United on a £73 million deal from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021. But Sancho’s association with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag turned out to be terrible and as a result, the Englishman had to opt for a move out of Old Trafford. Earlier this year in January, Sancho completed a loan move to and reunited with his Borussia Dortmund teammates. Sancho’s loan deal did not have any option to buy.
“When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like ‘coming home.’ I know the club inside and out, I’ve always been very close with the fans here, and I’ve never lost contact with those in charge. I can’t wait to see my team-mates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, prepare goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League,” Jadon Sancho had said back then, as per BBC.
During his second stint at Borussia Dortmund, Jadon Sancho has secured three goals and two assists so far for the Bundesliga side.
