Fenerbahce Manager Jose Mourinho Is Having Same 3-course Meal Every Evening At Istanbul Hotel
The staff of the Turkish hotel revealed that Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho ordered the same three-course meal for dinner.

Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho reportedly has the same dinner every night at his hotel in Istanbul. While the Portuguese manager’s style of gameplay has been exciting to watch, his diet is understood to be much less adventurous. Since taking up the coaching role at Fenerbahce, Mourinho has been living at the Four Seasons Hotel where the cheapest suites cost a minimum of £1000 per night. The staff of the Turkish hotel revealed that the two-time Champions League winner ordered the same three-course meal for dinner. They jokingly told that he regularly asked for chicken soup followed by Margherita pizza, ice cream and sparkling water. An article published by the Daily Mail has revealed these interesting details.

Jose Mourinho was appointed as Fenerbahce manager after being sacked by Serie A outfit Roma last season. He signed a two-year deal that binds him to the Turkish side until 2026 for an annual salary of £10 million. As per the same report, Mourinho is quite content with his new role. The Daily Mail’s source also claimed that the Portuguese manager is in love with Istanbul because it reminded him of London but with ‘better weather’. After Mourinho arrived in Fenerbahce, it was reported that the club were prepared to rent the best house in the city for their new manager. But the former Manchester United and Real Madrid boss had other plans as he opted for the hotel life.

This is not the first time Jose Mourinho decided to stay at a hotel during a managerial tenure. The same Daily Mail report further recalled the time when Mourinho lived the entirety of his 935-day reign at Manchester United in the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

Jose Mourinho is now tasked with leading Fenerbahce to glory. The club last won the Super Lig in 2014. They racked up 99 points last season but it just was not enough to win the title as Galatasaray became the first Turkish side to reach the century mark. As for the ongoing season, Fenerbahce have earned five wins in the eight matches they have played in the Super Lig. They follow Galatasaray, Besiktas and Samsunspor in fourth place with 17 points. They are set to face Bodrum in their next league game on October 27.
