Manchester City seem to be the newest contenders involved in an attempt to rope in Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo with an offer that will surely tempt the Portuguese winger.
City are ready to offer more amount than any club in order to get Ronaldo to Etihad. According to The Daily Star, the Citizens are ready to offer Ronaldo a deal of more than £300,000 a week.
The 28-year-old still has two years of contract left with the Los Blancos and Real are making efforts to make Ronaldo extend his stay at the Bernabeu. Ronaldo, who served six seasons at Manchester United, has also been linked with a possible move back to his former club.
However, it seems City are pulling out all possible stops to leave United behind in the race to sign the winger.
