Karan Torani unveils his latest collection, Leela: The Divine Illusion of Love with actor Tamannaah Bhatia. 5 styles from the collection that celebrated the greatest love story of Radha Krishna.

Depicting Radha and her love for Krishna, actor Tamannaah Bhatia brought to life fashion designer Karan Torani’s vision for his collection, Leela: The Divine Illusion of Love.

A series of traditional and alluring designs with Torani as its storyteller celebrates the greatest love story of all time. Captivating unconditional love and faith beautifully captured through his designs, the campaign features Tamannaah adorn timeless Indian festive wear envisioned in rich textiles and opulent colours.

Describing the essence of the collection on Instagram, Karan shared that Leela is a celebration of the rasa that Radhe Shyam represented. “A divine love that eludes all boundaries and puts love at the centre of the universe. Because if love is the answer, does the question really matter?”

Sharing her experience working on the campaign, Tamannaah expressed on Instagram, she said, “There were times when I felt a transcendent connection while embodying Radha, and a divine force seemed to be behind it all. This divinity is evident in the campaign’s visuals, thanks to the person behind it all @karantorani. He is truly a creative genius and one of the most talented young designers I’ve had the privilege to work with.”

On the occasion of Janmashtami, here’s 5 styles from the collection embodying the divine roop of Radha.

The Mayuri Srisa Lehenga

A combination of vibrant jewel-toned colours, the lehenga is crafted in lush organza and jeni silk. Paired with a Gulkhaira Srisa choli, the lehenga is embroidered with sucha zardorz, dabka and doria. Tamannaah is styled with two unique odhnis inspired by the Rajwada traditions, and is embellished in doria and badla warq.

The Chandramallika Manmayi Lehenga

Crafted in finest raw silk and embroidered in zardozi, dabka and dori work, the purple shade creates a regal effect with unmatched elegance. Tamannaah adorns the lehenga with an embellished magenta blouse. Torani styled Tamannaah with two odhnis – purple and aqua blue, crafted in the finest of tulle and organza and embellished with motifs of dil, chidi, eent and hukum.

The Kumuda Birajini Lehenga

Embroidered in pearls and doria on a purest canvas of ivory, the lehenga comes in pairing with the Kumuda Birajini choli with hand embellished organza 3D florals. The soft pink scalloped odhni is crafted in sheer tulle and is embellished with gota, doria and sequin work.

Chandramallika Gaurangi Blouse

Inspired by the traditional Indian angia (bodice), the purple blouse is the perfect mix of tradition and modernity. Tamannaah adorns the classic piece with a saree. You can also pair this stunning piece with a choli or a pair of pants. The luxurious silk blouse is crafted with intricate zari embroidery, dabka and sequins work.

Gerua Keshavi Saree

Tamannaah exudes royalty in this opulent heritage piece. Crafted in luxurious organza in a soothing orange hue, the saree is embellished with dabka work and intricate dori embroidery. Embellished with moti and sequin work, the saree is further enhanced with a thick embroidered border ending in micro scallops and elegant detailing
