The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has reopened the registration window for the recruitment of various positions under the Home Department, including Uttarakhand Police Sub-Inspector (SI) (Civil Police/ Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer and Platoon Commander (Gulmnayak) – Male (PAC/IRB) posts. Candidates who were unable to apply during the previous deadline for Uttarakhand Police SI Recruitment 2024 now have the opportunity to submit their application forms by March 22.
As per the initial schedule, the online application was accessible from January 31 to February 20. However, the commission has now decided to extend the registration window for candidates who were unable to register during the previous period. Candidates need to take note that this one-time opportunity will be available from March 16 to March 22, with the deadline set at 11:59 PM.
Uttarakhand Police SI Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
The UKPSC intends to fill a total of 222 vacancies through this recruitment campaign. Among these, there are 108 positions allocated for Police Sub-Inspector (SI), 24 vacancies for Fire Station Second Officer roles, and 89 openings for Platoon Commander (Gulmnayak) positions.
Uttarakhand Police SI Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 21 to 28 years of age. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Step 3: Proceed to register yourself and complete the application form with the required details.
Step 4: Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded as per the guidelines, and then submit the form.
Step 5: After submission, download and take a printout for future reference.
After the completion of the online application process, only one chance will be provided to applicants to open the link again for editing/correction of entries made by the applicant in the application form. Candidates should fill all the entries in the application form with utmost care. Only one opportunity will be provided after the final date for editing entries such as the applicant’s name/date/birth/category/subcategory/link etc.
