The model answer key and response sheet for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET 2024) has been published by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Aspirants can download the provisional answer key for their respective shifts using their EDCET registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth from the official portal. In addition to that the council has also opened the objection window for the TS EdCET answer key. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam and are not satisfied with the solutions can raise objections against the answer key by visiting the official website, edcet.tsche.ac.in.
It is to be noted that the TS EDCET answer key challenge window will close on May 29 at 11:30 AM. Candidates must submit their objections with supporting documents to be considered. Subject experts will review the answer key challenges, and if deemed correct, a revised answer key will be released. The results for 2024 will be based on the final answer key.
TS EDCET Answer Key 2024: How To Download
Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of TS EdCET at edcet.tsche.ac.in.
Step 2: Search for and click on the link dedicated to the answer key.
Step 3: On the next page, you will need to key in your login credentials, such as your date of birth and hall ticket number in the designated space.
Step 4: Once done, the TS EDCET Answer Key 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and print a copy of the same for future reference.
Meanwhile, the TS EdCET 2024 entrance examination took place on May 23 in two separate sessions. The first session commenced at 10 AM and ran until noon, while the second session was conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam followed an objective-type format with multiple-choice questions in both English-Telugu and English-Urdu. Each question carried one mark, totalling 150 marks for the entire test.
The TS EDCET question paper comprised five sections, with the first part consisting of science, mathematics, and social studies, each containing 20 questions. The exam also evaluated students’ knowledge of general English, general knowledge and educational issues, teaching aptitude, and computer awareness.
Talking about the passing criteria, all candidates except those falling under the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must achieve 25 per cent in aggregate to qualify, equating to 38 marks. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories don’t have a minimum qualifying mark requirement.
