The State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the revised schedule for the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 seat allotment results for MBBS and BDS admissions. Candidates can view the updated schedule on the official website, medical2024.mahacet.org.
Originally, candidates were given the window from August 27 to August 29, 2024, to submit their choices, with the seat allotment results scheduled for August 30. However, under the new timeline, candidates are required to complete the physical joining process and submit their status retention forms, along with the necessary documents and fees, between September 1 and September 5 by 5:30 PM.
Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2024: Steps to check the revised schedule
Step 1: Candidates must visit the official State CET website — medical2024.mahacet.org
Step 2: Click on the “revised schedule link” which will appear on the homepage.
Step 3: The PDF will automatically download after clicking the link.
Step 4: Take a screenshot of it or a printout of it for future reference.
According to the list, 59,132 candidates applied for admission to various programs, including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B (P and O). Out of these, 55,781 candidates are eligible for admission to the MBBS and BDS programmes.
The application fees for State Quota seats are Rs 1,000 for all courses. For Institute Quota seats, the fees are Rs 5,000 for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses, and Rs 1,000 for BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B(P&O) courses.
The Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMSand other allied medical and paramedical courses. The Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling is being conducted in online mode.
All the candidates must be citizens of India and must secure the qualifying marks for NEET 2024. They must have passed their class 10 examination or equivalent from a recognised board in Maharashtra. Those candidates who did not pass their class 10 examination from the state, can also apply if they have completed their class 12 examination from an institution located in Maharashtra. They must have a valid domicile certificate from the state of Maharashtra.
