The MSBSHSE or Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) supplementary exam date sheet 2024. According to the schedule released, the supply exams will commence on July 16. It will be held in two shifts — from 11 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. The Maharashtra SSC supply exam 2024 will end on July 30, and the HSC exam will conclude on August 8.

A total of 95.81 per cent of students passed the Maharashtra Board SSC exam this year. Of 15,49,326 SSC students who took the 10th exam, 14,84,431 successfully cleared the test. Girls outperformed boys yet again. The pass percentage among girls stood at 97.21 per cent and 94.56 per cent among boys. The pass percentage among girls last year stood at 95.87 per cent. Konkan division secured the best-performing district title by securing 99.01 per cent followed by Kolhapur with 97.45 per cent and Mumbai with 95.83 per cent. The lowest pass percentage division-wise has been recorded by Nagpur with 94.73 per cent.

In the case of class 12 exams 2024, the overall pass percentage has seen a slight improvement this year when compared to last year. A total of 93.37 per cent of students passed. Last year, the overall pass rate stood at 91.25 per cent. A total of 14,33,331 students took the Maharashtra Board HSC exam this year of which 14,23,923 appeared and 13,29,684 passed. Girls have outperformed boys. This year, the pass percentage among girls is 95.44 per cent and among boys 91.60 per cent. While 97.82 per cent of science students have cleared the exam, the pass percentage among arts students is 85.88 per cent, and among commerce, it is 92.18 per cent. The vocational stream pass percentage is 87.75 per cent and the pass percentage of the ITI stream is 87.69 per cent. Konkan is the best-performing division with a pass percentage of 97.51 per cent.
