JSSC Postpones Constable Application Process By A Week, To Begin On Jan 22

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will now commence the application process for the Constable Competitive Examination on January 22, 2024. Earlier, the recruitment procedure was scheduled to begin on January 15. This recruitment initiative aims to fill 4919 vacant positions across various roles within the organisation. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online at their official website, jssc.nic.in. The deadline to submit the application form is February 21, 2024.

According to the outlined schedule, applicants can complete the payment of the application fee until February 16. The candidates also have the opportunity to make edits to their application forms between February 26 and February 28. JSSC Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old. The upper age limit is 25 years for unreserved and economically weaker section applicants. For extremely backward-class and backward-class candidates, the upper age limit is 27 years. Female candidates from the unreserved, economically weaker section, and extremely backward classes have a maximum age limit of 28 years. Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Cast male and female candidates have an upper age limit of 30 years.

The examination fee is Rs 100, with a reduced cost of Rs 50 for applicants from the state of Jharkhand belonging to Scheduled Tribes or Scheduled Castes.
