Bigg Boss Tamil 7 contestant Poornima Ravi shocked everyone when she chose to walk out of the house with a bag of cash in her hands. Now, a video is making rounds on the internet, which shows her family celebrating her arrival back home. According to the latest promo, Poornima Ravi – now former Bigg Boss contestant – walked out of the house with Rs 16 lakh in her hands. In the January 5 promo of the reality show, the viewers can see Poornima Ravi taking the Rs 16 lakh bag, as she bids farewell to the other contestants. Her arrival back home was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by her family and neighbours. In the now viral clip, we can see the bursting of firecrackers, along with a lot of dancing. Poornima more than happily joined the dance celebrations with others, and was adorned with a huge rose garland. Further in the video, she is seen cutting a cake with her family, while she thanks everyone for making her homecoming so special.

During the start of this Bigg Boss task, the cash prize was set at Rs 1 lakh. Throughout the week, the contestants were open to take the box and quit the show. Even though it was being said that Vichithra is going to take the box, Poornima surprised everyone by walking away with it. According to the reports, Poornima was also being paid an estimated Rs 15,000 per episode on the show, so she made an additional Rs 14 lakh as a Bigg Boss Tamil 7 contestant. Now, the remaining 7 contestants are going to battle for the main prize in the show. These contestants are Vishnu, Vijay Varma, Vichithra, VJ Archana, Dinesh, Manichandra, and Maya Krishnan. The finale of the show is set to take place on January 14, 2024.
This season consistently made headlines for the controversies it was swept in. Especially Pradeep Antony’s red card decision, which generated a lot of debate. The grand finale of the show is going to be aired on Disney+ Hotstar and Vijay Television.
