The Indian Army has commenced the registration process for its upcoming recruitment drive. The registration process will be the enrolling stage for Agniveer Recruitment 2024. Candidates preparing to apply for a seat in the Agniveer recruitment program can register themselves on the official website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
According to the official notification released earlier, the recruitment process which commenced on February 8, will be closing on March 21. Interested applicants for the posts are advised to register before the due date.

As per the notification, the recruitment drive will be filling out as many as 25,000 vacant seats in various posts of Agniveer.
Agniveer Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
According to the recruitment advertisement, to apply for any of the posts in Agniveer, the lower age limit for applicants is 17.5 years while the upper limit of the same is 23 years. However, a relaxation in the upper age limit will be allowed for the reserve category.
On the other hand, all different categories of posts require a different set of skills to be eligible. For the GD post, one needs to pass Class 10th with 45 per cent marks from a recognised board. An applicant for a Technical post needs to be in Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
For the technical aviation and ammunition examiner, the candidate needs to have an Intermediate passing certification along with an ITI Trade centre from SCVT/ NCVT institution.
However, for the clerical post, one must have a passing certificate of Class 12th in science, commerce, or even arts with 60 per cent marks. For the Tradesman post, one needs to have passed the Middle School Examination (Class 8) from a recognised board.

Step 1: Visit the official website of joining the Indian Army at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ‘Join Agniveer’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Register with the required credentials such as name, mobile number and email ID.
Step 4: Review your eligibility and choose the discipline you want to apply for.
Step 5: Fill up the application form by giving personal details along with educational qualifications.
Step 6: Upload the required documents in the given format.
Step 7: Review the form and click ‘submit’.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.
In a recent press conference in Ludhiana, Colonel DP Singh shared crucial information about the recruitment process. He stated that the selection process will consist of a written test, scheduled for April. Following the success in written tests, the selected candidates will be called for the next round of selection, which is the physical test.
