upGrad has announced a new 4-month certification course in Generative AI for Leaders, in collaboration with Microsoft and IIIT Bangalore. This programme aims to build a larger community of AI-ready business experts in India. The four-month course is designed to train mid-career and seasoned professionals in core AI competencies, positioning them as formidable forces within the tech field through applied learning concepts.
This industry-first curriculum employs an inclusive framework that allows students to examine, develop, and alter business challenges in real-world settings. The programme is supported by strong tech experts from India’s best research institution, IIIT Bangalore, and includes real Microsoft sessions. This project lays the groundwork for India Inc. to upskill and lead the global AI talent pipeline.
The course’s approach contains a number of elaborative features intended to give a complete and hands-on learning environment. One important component is the “Build Your Own Business” (BYOB) case, which allows students to bring their own business cases and build solutions throughout their learning journey. This guarantees that participants get meaningful and practical experience that will benefit their jobs.
The curriculum comprises six modules that cover both the understanding and application of AI and Generative AI in business, along with crafting strategies for ROI-focused project planning. This structured approach ensures that learners gain a thorough grasp of the concepts and their practical applications in the business world. Additionally, curated capstone projects allow learners to apply the concepts they have learned to comprehensive projects, demonstrating their mastery of the material. This hands-on approach is further supported by reverse-engineered content and workshops with Microsoft, along with certification to enhance professional credentials.
The course offers over 25 live classes, multiple workshops, and access to cutting-edge AI tools such as ChatGPT and DALL-E. These resources provide learners with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
